Plan Ahead!

Spring break season is just about over.  I helped a LOT of families make some magical memories over the past couple of months.  Thank you for all of the bookings!!

If there was one piece of advice that I could offer to people that book Disney vacations during school breaks, it would be to plan ahead.  I had some clients that booked far enough in advance that we were able to get all of the dining and FastPass+ reservations they were looking for, and then I had some clients that booked at the last minute that might not have gotten all of their ideal reservations.

That being said, the key is to plan as far ahead as you can.  I totally understand that finances and work schedules sometimes don’t always permit for such advanced planning, but booking as soon as you possibly can will go a long way.

Why am I bringing this up now?  Because 6 months from now, a lot of schools in my area will be on fall break.  7 months from now it will almost be Thanksgiving.  That means that right now is when you want to book your trip.  I know that there aren’t any promotions for October or November at this moment, but that doesn’t mean they won’t be released soon, and that doesn’t mean that you can’t apply a promotion to your reservation when it is released.  Remember – monitoring for promos to save you money is part of my job!

Let’s not forget about the awesome events that happen throughout the fall that can make your visit even more magical!  First, there’s the Epcot Food & Wine Festival that runs August through October, Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party will be on select dates August through October, and finally Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will be on select dates November through December.

Just a $200 deposit books your next vacation package, whether it’s for fall break, Thanksgiving break, or Christmas break!  Booking now puts you on track for getting those hard to book dining and FastPass+ reservations.  So if you want the perfect Thanksgiving dinner at Disney, you need to book NOW to make sure you can get it!

Keep in mind that your $200 is fully refundable if you need to cancel at least 30 days prior to your checkin date.  Or, you can also simply change your travel dates for free before your final payment is due.
